This is for creating new groups. To ask your news provider to add a group to their server that already exists, or to create a group private to that server, contact the newsadmin for that provider.

Run your own news server (either on your own machine or on a hosted server where you can install your own server software). See the server links on the main page.

Ask one of the companies on the newsfeeds page to host your group, but then it may only be available to their subscribers.

Server Central Network can do nntp hosting on virtual servers (as well as, of course, dedicated servers.)

Zeppole.com will host private newsgroups for you.

Free-conversant is a web-based service that lets you create message boards which can be accessed via nntp. They have a free option, or with commercial option you can use your own domain.
